Removal Of A Dash
Listener Kevin Mantooth wrote in recently asking me to remove the dash (-) in front of the feed name for this podcast. It was something that I had forgotten about for a year. When iTunes first started their podcast functionality there was some short-term advantage in using the dash to get higher exposure in a alpha-numeric list.
I had meant to only do this for a couple of months but just forgot. So thanks Kevin for 'reminding' me that this was kind of annoying!
And... look for This And That Podcast on your iPod under the "T's" where it belongs.

The Katie Couric Diet

Here are the before and after shots of the high-quality photoshop work by the CBS photo department. Story here.
Rumor going around is that the guy that did this work is in high demand... ;-)

Busy Busy Week
This has to be one of the busiest weeks (started last week actually) that I've had in a long time. One of the reasons is KRLD Restaurant Week where I have been enjoying the best cuisine nightly. I've also had an unusually large number of appointments (eye doctor, hair stylist, dentist, tailor, etc..) And finally, I'm off to visit Southern California for a long weekend. I'm meeting up with several sets of old friends and have a bunch of activities lined up including a friend's movie premier!
Nevertheless, not to worry - I have show 42 in the 'can' as they say and it will be ready early next week!

The Old Woman And The House

Awesome and well-researched story of a glamorous old Dallas dame in one of the mansions on Swiss Avenue. This is a real "Sunset Boulevard" story. I highly recommend the good read because a) there is a bit of old Dallas history in it b) it is well researched c) it is a compelling read!
Get your fix here. Oh - and I'll try to post more often.
