Walk Score

In an effort to get people to look for neighborhoods where one can walk to local commonly used businesses, there is a new web site called Walk Score. Put in your address and find out your score. (My score is a 68 out of 100 - "Somewhat Walkable"). My city (Dallas) is the 21st most walkable city in the country (big cities I imagine) and my neighborhood is the 3rd most walkable neighborhood in Dallas. Kind of fun to look around!

My walk score is 45… I was rather upset with it. And I was surprised to know that there is another
score called drive score to evaluate my house. I found the way to calculate it online at Fizber
    site (http://drivescore.fizber.com/ ). I’ve got much better results – 71.

It’s difficult to me to understand how computer counts my walk, drive and others scores. By what criterion it judges? I don’t agree with my mark and I feel upset! I don’t need most things (Gas Station, Railway Station) that computer proposing to me. But I found a service http://drivescore.fizber.com/ that offers me to choose things by myself. So my score become much higher then it was last time.
