Crepe Myrtle Time Again

It's Crepe Myrtle time again. Last year (check out last June's blog) they didn't start blooming until mid June (which I understood to be more normal). This year we are about 3 weeks ahead from what I can tell! The old wife's tale is that once the Crepe Myrtle's bloom, the hot weather has arrived. I also read recently that they were expecting more 100 degree days in Dallas this summer than in the last few years. Good grief. We need to brace ourselves.
