Jeff - maybe its a cue to make another "this and that" podcast.
If Pat's had enough for the moment just miss off the "w/ Jeff and Pat" from the name of the podcast and reserve it for if/when Pat wants to podcast again.
In the meantime, keep making the "this and that" podcasts. I think Carol sounds great. It works well, and she should be applauded for stepping in at a difficult time. But if you can persuade her to continue then change the graphics on the website and go for it.
